They weren't exactly pop-ups, err maybe they were. They would replace the exsisting window when I tried to close them.

Either way, I haven't had great luck with FF. It would crash constantly. Haven't tried the new version yet though.

And These are the first pop-up type ads I have seen on this computer since i bought it over a year ago. Been using IE the entire tme too.

Yeah, the little banner was no bother. I may give FF another chance though. I have been doing a little research, and it looks like they worked out some of the kinks I had issues with in the past.
