SMART car doing donuts and stoppie
they just became available in the last 6 months or so, and the only ones on the road now are all the pre-orders. If i were to goto the dealer i wouldn't get delivery of the car until late summer of 2009. Thats what the dealer told us about 4 months ago when we went to the dealer just to check them out. I dont think i would ever own one since gas prices are not high enough to affect my driving habits.
I thought they already were available in the states for a while, but ok.
we have them since 1998.....and the funny thing about the pre-facelift models is, that the turbo pressure outlet looks like a gas tank cap......and women use to pull it out and fill gasoline or diesel in there, so they flood the turbo and the engine lol
thats what I mean http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cP4SueNBQ
lol (in german though)
If you want to buy a gas saving car, get yourself a Golf TDI......german turbo diesels arent like the old GM diesels, they are pretty good instead.
