there are actually a lot of variables involved in that. they can get clearance to enter the airspace if need be. if they are chasing a man wanted for raping babies and stabbing pregnant mothers you think they will just stop? nope. also depends on the time of day. if the air traffic is heavy its harder to get the clearance, but if its a slow part of the day, they will grant access.

these people are funny... i ran from an f-16 once on my bike... they were shooting at me and all, i was 007ing their ass the whole waaayy..
