If I remeber correctly the GTR ran 7:38:54 on a semi-wet track that beat out the z06,997 GT3,Veyron, and the ford gt

The Zr-1 Ran in the low 7:40s which is to far off the GTR's time

Now the GT-R V-Spec ran a 7:25 which is very impressive.

The Zr-1 7:40 time could easily be improved by at least four or five seconds. But that's still a long way off.

Didn't the GT-R run Nurburgring again and did a 7:29 and why is a base model GT-R being compared to the almighty ZR-1 aaaahaahaa

Bikes don't belong to the Nürburgring imho, it's because they brake out most of the fast car drivers in the turns...and there are more than 70 of them.

In the "Fuchsröhre" it's like a lawnmower with 17 billion RPMs passes you with over 270 km/h.....and at the "Adenauer Forst" you realise it was a bike, now ruining your lap time because it has to go through the chicane.

Game continues at the "Karussel" and so on.



To topic, awesome Civic, no doubt, but the R35 is (as already mentioned) near stock and was built to compete on a track, not the quarter mile.

The Porsche Turbo beats the GT-R at the Autobahn, because it has a little bit more torque and is 1 km/h faster.....at the Nordschleife the GT-R is faster.

I'm no fanboy btw, just saying it like it is.
