thats nuts, im guessing its not nearly as fast as a stock srt-4? is it on a more conservative tune?

 

Hey i'm new here, but I run a turbo'd cruiser with about $800 in engine mods and i ran a 14.2 @ 98 (2.24 60') with an Auto on street tires at orlando speed world. I am putting about 230-240 hp and close to 300 lb ft to the wheels. If I had slicks I could probably dip into the 13's. Just about anything you can do to a Srt-4 you can do to a PT as long as you have the room in the engine bay. Pt's just weigh 300-400lbs more than an Srt-4.

The guy in the video is from Vancouver canada, and is now about to install the motor stroked to 2.6 liters. There are videos out there of him running 11's. There is I guy I know in Ft Lauterdale running in the 12's with an auto pt cruiser on Slicks.

The guy was putting out 450 without the nitrous. the video was with i believe a 75 shot internal with a 35 shot directly onto the intercooller for cooling. He showed some pics on a pt site where the turbo was glowing red hot. he is running a big turbo (not the stock one) and has a modified intake manifold but the internals are stock. i think he might have blown his rings on those pulls thats why he decided to get it stroked to 2.6 liters. He ran 11.9 with just the 450whp ( no nos) If yo view the vid to the right is another vid of that car running 11.9.
