ok but when it comes to street racing is it worth racing your car a 1/4 mile down a street just to say "I beat you" and risk your car,license,and get arrested for a 15 sec race,No but we do it anyway

Security cameras, watchful employees, records showing 200 uses of the wash, but only 5 uses worth of money resulting from those 200 washes, etc.
Take it to the track. Don't endanger MY life because you think that if you can win a race, it somehow makes you better of a person. Besides, 1/4-mile racing is pointless. All it shows is how well a car can accelerate. It BARELY shows the skills of the driver (I mean, all you need is a good reaction time and a LITTLE bit of coordination and timing), unlike rally and other forms of racing that require driver skill more than sponsor investment.
