So this whole street racing trend must have just been invented, right?

My feeling is, BUILD THEM A TRACK AND THEY WILL RACE THERE!!! It amazes me how they spend MILLIONS in tax payer money fighting it, but wont spend the money to build safe legal facilities for people to race... They act like this shit just started after the F&F movies came... Street racing has been goin on since cars were invented...

Alot of places dont have tracks though... Up here, we have an ok track I guess... Its more hit or miss... Sometimes the track hooks, sometimes it doesnt, sometimes you can get a handful of runs in, sometimes you cant get any hardly... They wanted to extend it 1/4 mile and do all this stuff, but the locals voted NO, and now Im hearing they may close it down... Dont get me wrong, I love to race, but I think it should be done safely and legally... I have WAY too much to lose if I get busted street racing... I dont have a credit kawd to pay my fiddy hunned dolla tiket on, lol...
