^if its 500+hp, then the torque is 400+. also, both cars have relativley close weights, 240=26-2700, integra=26-2700. my hatch weighed 2250 with me in the car. there is no way a heavy ass 240 could pull me off the line with equal power. its a simple fact of life(POWER TO WEIGHT RATIO). also, that teg wasn't tuckin wheels so he was prolly on 16's or 17s, and i burned my 16's in 4'th under boost, so yes, he would be showing signs of that and rev boucing in 2nd and 3rd for sure with 500 on tap.Not saying it wasn't a good race, but 500+hp?!?!? i want a fact sheet if you want me to believe that crap.

there are tons people *caugh* with driver skill that can improvise on your power to weight ratio theory on drag racing. of light weight honda vs a full weight 240sx

 

and i guess anyone with over 500hp doesnt have 500hp if they dont squeel tires.

^^^w/e dude. people dont ride down the street everyday with Slicks. power to weight is simply that,POWER TO WEIGHT. if your vehicle is making the same power as the opponent, BUT their car weighs less, their vehicle is going to accelerate faster than yours no matter how much of a *caugh* bad ass driver you are. i could be a bad ass driver in my f250, but the guy with the same power and torque in his mustang is gonna pull me no questions asked. STILL awaiting the specs on this 500+hp slow revving LS integra...............

 

yes power to weight ratio applies if the human aspect is not in the situation. when you are going from a stop power to weight ratio means practically nothing if one of the two drivers can't operate the vehicle properly. when the human shift's with a small time period inbetween shifts the power to weight ratio factor decreases in our "street car horse power" class.

yes actualyl there are lots of cars that daily drive on slicks. but who needs slicks. there are some sticky tires out there.
