frozen title wave (pics)

how!?! a tidal wave technically would be travelling at some good speeds, and to freeze THAT amount of water and become such a detailed sculpture like that, would have to mean for a SUDDEN drop in temp to a rediculous temp.
i mean thats how i see it. not calling it BS but just simply AMAZING. any more details on it?

actually if the water coming is from a warmer body of water and then hits the coldest part then hits basically frozen air it could freeze a tidal wave.
