Stopped by the shop today after lunch and a friend of mine noticed a substantial amount of smoke coming from next store. Turns out the smoke was coming from a newer Mercedes SL55 Kompressor We were about 60 yards from where the fire but I was able to get some video. After the fire was out I was able to snap a few pics a little closer, but didn't want to aggravate the owner. He was at the scene just sitting back and laughing about it. Not much else you can do when your 70k+ car is aflame.

WTF, did a FF ever get out in full gear/air pack and fight the fire? The vid stopped but it looked to be a 2 man, undermanned truck........

did anyone hear about the 68 corvette that caught fire the other day it was in the paper and they said the guy had it in storage came to start it shut it off pulled it back in and then some wiring in the dash caught fire

damn it sucks but in sure insur. will be paying for it all and hell have a new one next week

daaaamn cause we just got back into our parking lot on campus from washing our cars at the little place right off fletcher, and i look that way and see black ass smoke and wanted to run over and see what was up...
