It was a very good run imo. We're talking about a 40 roll here that was virtually even till about a buck 30. To me that's quite a race. Granted he took one and i took one, but it was a good clean race where no one can really even hold glory over the other.


During the course i reading i caught that you bogged out a bit on the first run, dunno if that was the deciding factor or not but you never know, just kinda a what happened, happened sort of thing.


Now to list what was done to the Cobra, it really was pulleyed with a full exhaust system but at around 45hundo with the RPM's my boost was falling below stock to around 5 PSI which is even worse then the stock 8. Now i'm not saying my car was running as slow as a stock one because that's deffinately not the case but it wasn't running like it should have and that was just on the first run. On the second time around i don't think my boost ever burried which made for quite a differance in the two so i never even got that good pull from the beginning of the gears.


Believe it or not i had the problem fixed the next day. What happened was i shreadded up my serpentine belt so i had absolutely no boost what so over a while back, and when i got it replaced they said i needed a special order belt and told me i'd have to get it from Ford so i didn't have to wait. But it turns out that this was the stock Cobra belt and as you may guess this baby doesn't match up right with the smaller pulleys. So yeah the belt was too big thus the reason it was slipping and taking away my boost. But as you may know that does me absolutely no good right about now.


If all goes well maybe my baby will live to run another day, i just dunno if i'll be driving it or not........But that would be a wonderful match up to see again.
