Heres a few videos of what I consider the single hardest most extreme motor sport on the planet .. Rally.. not many other sports have you build and drive a single car through snow, ice, mud, gravel, water, dirt, dust, tarmac, mountains, forests, towns and a whole host of other places/thigns, often times in a single race... all the time while reaching speeds in excess of 140 MPH along roads barely wide enough for 1 car at sensible speeds... and all while being directed by a codriver who tells you when to turn and how much to turn..

I have seen the pikes peak vid for some time now.Its the best autosport vid I have seen,Pure balls.

 

The pikes peak version (or suzuki special) is a twin- engined beast, but it has two smaller, turbocharged Suzuki v2 motorcycle engines (not a 5l v12) which equates to a 4 cylinder, 2.1 litre 634kw tyre shredding machine (it has to be 2.1litres due to racing regulations). it is capable of well over 200mph on tarmac, but in the hiilclimb, we've clocked it at a top speed of 178.4 mph (uphill & on a gravel road) during the silverstone "race to the sky" in new Zealand April 2003.
