I figured the vette would win 350's dont respond to boost to well, theres a guy in ohio runnig a TT set up running low 12's high 11's, when i think they run low to mid 13's stock

 

Seemed like the vette put most of the distance on him at the start, could just be a laggy turbo and no brake boosting. The Z was holding even about 1.5-2 cars back on the last run. Still doesn't look like 500+ whp.

 

i'll believe it when i see the engine and drive the car

 

the 3,200 lb. 350Z did not have 520 rwhp or it didnt have a driver. The 3,150 lb. Z06 is so badass bonestock @ 450ish. Any C6 Z06 guys want to make a video with me?

 

^ like sum1 said earlier it was probley peaky power not through out the powerband, C6's have a great powerband

 

it's not a 520whp z At best, he's closer to 450whp, maybe 475, which isn't enough to pull that Z06. And gearing plays a big factor too.

and it was likely twin turbo, so there's no 'peaky' powerband involved. Take a look at some twin turbo decent horsepower 350z dyno charts, torque comes on early and has a nice flat plateau. I'm thinking that was an APS twin turbo setup, which has dual ball bearing units for excellent off-throttle response.

 

why would they write 520WHP if it wasnt?

Conservative dyno like some of the others said.

 

i dont think there are any C6 Z06's on here yet.
now a C5 z06 there are/were about 5-6 of them.
