ok check it i got the info from the civic driver after the race n the cavalier was ahead by a half a car 1.5 civic turbo vs. 2.2 ecotec cavalier they raced once again n the civic won but whatever he had a turbo!!!

yea it was considering the fact that the cavi had a ghetto ass exhaust and intake n it only went 107 so considering that fact it did good compared to the civic

 

and that "boy" was me bitch that race was fun! second round was weak tho haha

they both looked really slow, was the chevy turbo or what? IF the cavi was remotely stock that civic was weak, maybe he was running peanuts for boost

 

the cavi had exhaust n intake thats it n the civic had a wierd asss turbo that looked ghetto as hell

 

what don't i know? according to ClubCivic.com - Honda Engine Codes & Specs '73-'05 the 1.5l hondas made anywhere from 70-102 hp, one exception is the jdm 130hp. And the 1.8l made anywhere from 130-170hp

now lets say u add boost, going on 8hp per psi, u boost the 1.5l (ill be generous and say 90hp to start with) and u add 8lbs of boost u make about 154hp

so why not swap in a bigger engine and boost later or add nitrous
