Vincent Mancini: Yes.
Don Lucchesi: Finance is a gun. Politics is knowing when to pull the trigger.

This is from one of the members of a board that I am on. I guess his brother is the crew chief but this is what he had to say:
My brother is the crew chief on this team- very bad day for these guys.
Thanks goodness Joey is ok!
John (crew chief) said Joey seen it coming and couldn't do anything-he just said "OH SH!T" and was air born. The dry sump canister ruptured when it hit and splattered the whole inside of the car w/ oil- NO GAS- the fuel cell and all the fuel lines where intact (a comment incorrectly made in a couple of articles).
When he stopped, the corner workers came over and bascially paniced. Joey got himself out of the car after releasing his belt and getting tangled in the window netting w/ his Hans device.
His anti-submarine strap was fastened between his legs and latched to a lower bar, which while flipping, tore a channel into the seat and smashed his thingies to the point of him not being able to walk after he got himself out of the car.
THEN the corner workers dragged him away from the car fearing he'd catch on fire from the, again incorrect, GAS all over him. He tried to tell them he was ok and they dragged him across the ground a second time and proceeded to cut off all his clothes so he was not "combustible".
As far as the car, the cage was dented on one bar- otherwise, John said, if it wasn't for the oil mess- nothing inside looks like anything happened.
THe team has an extra tube assy. to build a another car---- being privateers- all it takes is hard earned cash!
