insulation is a great job. the glass doesnt bother me at all and theres plenty of people who want to do it. problem is the big companies that have all the good accounts dont want inexperienced workers. and i personally hate training people. i work for one of the top companies on the east coast. and am also one of the best in the business. construction is big on this side of the coast. i plan on going in for my contractors license and one day own my own business also. why work for the man when you can work for yourself.

 

i work for LEEDS. but we dont have a company over there in tampa yet. i know there is a gale insulation in st pete. how big is your house?

 

Gale sucks ass, I just fired them. To trully enjoy construction, Try my job. I sit in the office all day and tell the contractors what to do. If they do not like it, Someone out there will. With doing insulation in the next 10 years you WILL have a bleed in one or both lungs. The mask i see in your pic does nothing.
If you want to make money with Leeds AKA Hope lumber, Leeds was bought out 8 months ago. Try the Tyvec instalation, It cost me $1300 per house, With only $500.00 spent on supplies.
$800.00 take home for 3 hours of work. No disrespect, But if your gonna move to tampa, Drop the body kit. They do not do to well over here. My house is 2300sf. I want to get the new stuff they shoot and stick to the underside of the roof. Lmk.

 

leeds wasnt bought out...i work at the main office. the owner i still see every now and then. and i used to work for gale and yes they do suck. as far as my lungs bleeding ive upgraded in masks. as seen here.....



i never heard of tyvec though. and it may cost you 1300 a house but i dont see nowhere near the 800. thats why i have to do so many houses a day to make 2-3 hundred a day. move to tampa? i moved from tampa to here. i lived there all my life. and the body kit stays...its one thing to critisize it from a picture. but its another to see it in person. not one person has told me they disliked it in person yet. and its not to be up to par for everyone elses tastes...its to my own. i hope to get a supra one day. 94 in up. will be a few years though. and from what the lady told me at the toyota dealership when i was ordering parts supra is going to be re released to the world. but from what she said this car is supposed to be like a hundred thousand. fawk

 

hey bigtim what parts of tampa are you in? i'll be in new port richey in a few weeks to visit some family if your in the area we could chill...i know me and a couple of celica buddies are meetin up. most likely going to show up at gandy.

 

Leeds was bought by Hope lumber. They jacked the prices up after the buy out. They may have not bought the entire thing out ...Yet. Home Depot just bought Cox lumber to, Not a good thing for Cox. Stock is still Stock they suck.
I would be trying to get a contract from my boss.

 

im actually in orlando... just usually lurk around here and look at some car vids... i saw a fellow celica owner gettin bashed so i had to try to stand up for him nothin against anybodys neon or anything, and dont take anything personal i said please... i just mess around... tryin to get a 3sgte someday but thats in the future, which is why i still have a lot of respect for Rickstas celica, even if the body kit isnt in my taste... o well, i thought it was a pretty funny thread I'm always down for some celica meets to ricksta... we should get somethin together
