I will be more selective of what I post, although I believe that there is a small group of people who are bent on making this board an unpleasant place for everyone. I have received emails from other members in support of me but they are afraid to post it on the board because they might get flamed for defending me. I don’t know this is not my forum and it is your rules. But there are plenty of pointless videos posted here and I do believe some of us are being short changed in a way because I am sure there have been people who have thought about posting potentially a good video and didn’t because they are afraid of being attacked by these people. Who really don’t make any interesting threads themselves but spend their days criticizing other people and attacked other members on a personal level. Again if someone makes a dumb post, it would be simpler if people would let it die instead of abusing the author. I believe a warning to the flamers would be appropriate and possible further down the line revocation of certain privileges if they continue to harass other members. Because really the entertainment value of a video is based on personal opinion and you can never satisfy everyone, the end result of that is that people simply don’t post. Then again I am new to this forum and maybe I should just keep my mouth shut and go with the flow. I am eager to read your thoughts on this and I am not meaning to cause any trouble. I will refrain from posting if you believe that all of my posts where truly useless.

darius is actually a really cool guy in person...not sure what problem you have with him though.

 

I dont know who that it, but I dont doubt that some of these guys are cool dudes in person. And infact under diffrent circumstances we might get along fine. All I am saying lets stop the hating. The mean posts and the personal attacks. If its a dump post then shit, just say I dont like it, better yet dont post anything. That way it will be out of your sight even fast. Just my thoughts. Although my car is not fast, I am a very big fan. I love cars and speed just like anyone else here. I dont know am I the only one who feels that way. If I am not welcomed here then I understand. But if there are other people who agree with me, than this would be a good time to say something.

ya man, i mean it takes balls to stand up to the mods here, but still if its not overall a good vid, or just u goofing off in ure honda, then put it in honda tech or something a little less visited by the member, reduces flaming

I can agree with you totally. I have been bashed by spectacle and a few of my friends on tr have told me the same. I guess hes just an ass, but thats my own honest opinion. Lighten up a bit. sorry for my input

 

I am not trying to stand up to the mods. I am just throwing a question out so I can better conduct myself in this forum. You are missing the point. I dont want to censor myself to avoid flaming, non of us should. We should just eliminate flaming all together. Flaming is like a plague, it starts out slow and before you know it. People are afraid to post because a few people enjoy being jerks online. I say there should be consequence for overly abusive and personal posts. That's just my opinion and I am just asking Spectacle what he thinks of it.
