Probably going to be seeing alot of them also supprize supprize ... There were only a little over 7k C5's produced in 1997 btw. I wonder how much they had to pay old man Carroll just to put his name on hat car? I heard that old man is a major dick in person, some kid bought his overpriced poster at a car show and he refused to sign it! Im not hating on the car, Id deff rock one, just not the vert!

 

the shelby will be a better investment than a new z06. in the long run the market value for a z06 will be far lower than a shelby. i would pick the shelby over the z06 any day.

 

I doubt that, thats like sayin a 69' 427 ZL1 corvette isn't worth more than an origional GT500 when it is.... Besides who buys cars now days to just sit in the garage? Another thing who's ACTUALLY producing the vehicle, Ford or Shelby?

 

The Shelby is not going to hold its value any better than any other SVT. Ford said that they will make as many as they can sell. 20k+ cars. They may be worth good money in 20 or so years, but after the initial rush for the car it will come down as more cars are available.

 

yeah man, Ford has been fighting with the weight issue for a while on that car. They deleted the spair tire and replaced it wtih a can of fix a flat to try and save weight, so whats that tell you. Shes a big old sexy fat cow thow.

 

i can't believe this car weighs almost 4,000 lbs.

the new zo6 (not that its fair to compare the two cars) weighs almost 800lbs less!
