What do you mean what's with the spoiler?

That spoiler looks like it would make him fly away if he was to drive off the cliff. its twice the size of the car. Its a little overkill.

think about the climate that he's racing in, thinning atmosphere as you increase altitude, so you need more surface area to achieve the same results you would require at the lower altitude...
