ripped from another forum...
My buddy's shop got their AWD dyno going, and were doing some experimenting... So they decided to do a run on this GTi, baseline, then spraying a bottle of n2o on the intercooler to ice it over... I expected a good jump, but NOTHING like these numbers.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

HPA's Twin Turbo TT 3.2VR6 gets about 50 extra hp when they use a single fogger nozzle over the intercooler. Keep in mind that's not just dumping a bottle over the FMIC. Do we know whether that was corrected or uncorrected? If that's a corrected (CHP) number on an AWD dyno, it makes sense. Uncorrected (WHP) I say fake.

The concept is very real... Whether it would net 70 hp or not is another question..

I intend to build something similar.. the kits out there are just too expensive for what they do.. It's so simple a concept that I could build a nice looking and good performing one w/ readily available stuff.
A bottle full of Co2 would DRASTICALLY reduce charge temp, ESPECIALLY at roadway speed w/ the air hitting it after being doused in gaseous Co2.. Basically, it would likely be cold enough for ice to form on the intercooler.

300whp...real for a GTI...go to www.goapr.com there kits does 340hp on 100oct i think.
