DSM Dave,I also have a red 91' like yours.Looks very nice.I'm not a big red fan,but I like it on our cars. You going to the shootout this year?I missed the last one due to my buddy's wedding, but this year I want that dyno trophy.I think someone won with under 800whp this past year.I don't know what the car will make with track tuning but I'm sure it'll be higher than that. It's capable of much more, but we'll have to see what the car will make with a tune for the track. All I know is the power that it makes now is enough to spin all 4 in 3rd gear past my house.LOL,this cars gonna need new shoes before it even gets to the track.

That HKS manifold and wastegate are off of Sean Glazar's 8 sec Talon.I used it on my 93' TSi for a while but the GT-42 would only fit on the manifold backwards.I fabbed up some crazy ass I/C piping for it,but it faced the compressor inlet right smack in front of the frame rail.So I sold the HKS mani and had Ron Shearer make me a top mount w/a single 44mm Tial gate. The twin gate setups are great for street cars with large turbos, but for a drag car that runs extremely high boost levels one large wastegate is all you need.I'll be running the car in Sport RWD like Sean, but I'd like to lighten up the car.Sport RWD only allows you to get down to 3,100lbs w/2 power adders.I could shave off a few hundred lbs. but than I would'nt be able to race Sport RWD.And Pro-RWD is such a fast class I'd have no chance.I've thought about putting a 4 link in it and making it RWD.I could do it right for roughly $15K.I want to see how far I can go with the AWD platform. If I'm not satisfied than the cars getting some tube frame work and a nice 4 link.I've already got an abundance of GM transmissions. But anyway,I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.
