the world would be a nicer place to live, but we would still have natural disasters. earthquakes, floods, tornados.. are just scientific phenomenas that can be easily explained just not controlled (yet?). no need to bring religion into it.
as for camaro_owner: you're saying that it maybe god's work, so i took it as truism, deduced a fallacy(theoritically), in order to negate its validity.

 

Basically, all I was trying to say was that neither person in the video could have made a point that would have changed the other guy's opinion. There are so many ways of looking at religion, the argument would have never ended. I wasn't saying anything about my beliefs.

If that's how that guy interprets the storm then so be it. If someone wants to interperet it another way then so be it. Many things can be learned from a course of events; like this gentlemen for example, we learned that he thinks a hurricane can be an act of God to punish sin. He has a logical stand point based on his belief construct so it does make sense in his perspective. But honestly who gives a f*** why do people waste their time watching shit like that on T.V.
