The difference between the Mustang GT and the Civic is that:
1: it takes a lot more work to get that Civic into the 11 sec. range than the stang.
2: a few years from now the Stang will still be worth more stock than a modified Civic will be.
3: the stang sounds much better than any fart can on a Civic will sound.
I'm sure I left out some other good points, feel free to add to my list.
OMG I can't believe I just said good things about a Ford

but to get a decent stang meaning gt or if ur a big baller a cobra its gonna cost u a pretty penny where a civic u can get for 1,500 - 3,000 all day long, invest about another 2g's and u got a atleast a 12 second car if u know what ur doin

I think your numbers are off a bit, U can find an older Stang GT for $3,000 but I don't think there are too many cars in that price range, Civic or Stang, that will run 12's with only $2,000 into it. If you can make me a 12 second car for $2,000 in parts and labor please share your secret with me.
