We have those race alot up at the old track I used to go to called Lebannon Valley. The first time I went there I was like WTF are they doing on the track? Then they launched and I realised how fast those things go - holy sh!t they are fast.

Its possible. I was thinking that at first. Never even thought of it being in KPH. I personally have seen a snow mobile run a mid 9 at Bradenton and it didn't look that fast either so who knows. Traction is definitely not a problem for those since their belt is 12" wide and 24" long on the ground.
