I dont know either. I wanted to try something so i put a set of 195's on the front of my car and drove it around the block. I put the car into 3rd gear going only about 25mph with the rpm's at under 3k. As soon as the turbo spooled which took some time the car started spinning so bad it almost slowed down. That was only 18lbs(400whp) Ask anyone who has seen my car dyno. I use very big tires and still lose the dyno reading afte the 500whp range. Nobody has ever given me an answer to how they dyno these big numbers on stock tires. Why would you build a car with that power and have tires that are made for 100hp?

Ron, those are not stock tires. He also has limit straps on the car. That's the next thing I would do on your coupe.

Brad Brooks: reply to ron that he's using the smaller roller so it has less inertia and is less resistant to spin, but still at 700whp+ i'd think it'd break the tires loose

What do straps have to do with traction on the dyno? I can see it helping at the track but how does that keep the car from spinning?

yea and from the looks of it that dyno looked to be just one roller with the wheels sitting on top... as opposed to the wheel sitting in between two rollers... again another reason why i dont understand how it didnt break loose....

Does he bypass vtec?or he just have the Vtec path tapped to flo More oil right onTo the cams?
