2g Talon goes 9s

We attended the sport compact shootout on Saturday June 11th, and managed to run a 9.89@145 in our 96 Talon. This car was driven to and from the track, and is driven on the street all the time. Race weight was over 3000 lbs. The car was running TOYO rA1 street radials. We won the modified class of the event,and reset the record for a sport compact at Luskville dragway. Tapp Auto customer Ben Chausee won the street class. There are some videos up in the pictures and video section. Thanks to all the people who put the event together, especially the boys at Evolution tuning.

I dunno if it was a mullet or not?? but did you see me pass him in 3rd thats why he slowed down his shifting. I ran fater, i ran a 6 sec pass

ARP main and head studs,front balance shaft deleted, with rear balance shaft weights machined off.
