I can still remember seeing an sl65 going 11.8s on multiple passes in Orlando one night. The guy driving it wrote for Automobile magazine and was doing a story about drag racing the car. They almost kicked him out because technically the car is a convertible and it didnt have the required roll-bar for those times. A picture of me drooling over the car was in the mag too...
