it took that long cause it is a small chunk of dryice we did one took 8mins to blowup some sodabottles are stronger then other the explosion on comes out from one way and that will 100% always be from the top..

you must use a 2 liter soda bottle. it took a while because they didnt use that much dry ice. for better results. use pool chlorine tablets and alcohol. shake. and it takes about 20 seconds. be careful though, back in the day one exploded in my friends face and he was temporarily blind for a week.
