That being said low 8s on a 88H GK is not that bad of an accomplishment either, I'm sure if Nero wanted to invest the time in the Supra again like he does the Celicas it would be a 7 second car no questions asked.

Did you video tape that 216.8 run last week, I think that will let you know what a largeframe turbo on a Titan 2J will do. If not I'm sure we'll see in Vegas.

That being said anyone who daily drives Drag Radials on a high HP car has some big balls, I've been caught in the rain in friends cars more than a few times and we might as well have been on slicks. The tires are design to get you to and from the races, not necessarily to be driven every day (although this may be possible on a 150hp honda, not the case with a RWD 450+HP Toyota).

Yes I know exactly what the MSP car consists of and I never said Titan's car was not impressive for the size turbo that they are limited to due to their Greddy sponsorship. In the past the MSP car has always weighed in higher then the Titan car, I never implied it was anywhere near full weight though as it is definitely a light weight when it comes to supras as well. I was also there in TX when I was invited into Titan's rig to watch the footage from Fridays test runs at HRP. Needless to say alot of nitrous out the hole made that car truly haul ass while being all over the track. In case you dont know what I am talking about it was an 8.05 and yanked the front wheels. During the test runs is when they damaged the motor causing them to be on 5 cylinders for Saturdays race.

As for the 216.80 run. I was standing right there watching that pass and the mph was definitely impressive. It was also a scary pass to watch to say the least. They took a risk with that one and somehow Brad was lucky enough that the car stayed in the small groove on that shitty ass track. Seeing what happened to so many cars that weekend I'm sure you will agree that it was a scary pass. The mph was impressive but the ET for that kind of mph was not there and that reflects the shitty track. There are plenty of people that make enough power in the class to run those speeds, just most people were tuning their shit down knowing how many people had crashed and not wanting to do so themselves.

I know all about TX2K5, I was there and saw the 8.05 in person on Thursday. The funny thing is only one stage of nitrous kicked in and that is why the car only went 8.05 on a 1.25 60'. One day we'll redo that car and make it into an outlaw car of sorts, then the fun will begin.

Lets be honest Porter, we've gone to how many races and no one has gone withing 4MPH of that time, a LOT of drivers have taken chances as well. The 60' on that pass was a 1.08. Ara had a 1.07 and went 204 for the loss. Brad is an excelent driver and the car went straight down the track, he of course had some wheelspin, but nothing that he wasn't able to take care of. Had that car 60' like the black cars previous pass you would have seen a .4X, so I'm sure that would probably help get the ET down as well should the track hookup. This weekend will show that, I'll be in Vegas watching all the fun.

Wes, Brad is an excellent driver and did a great job in getting that car down the track on that pass. Its all part of racing. You and I as well as everyone else know that there are definitely 7 cars in the class capable of seeing runs in the 40s. Vegas should definitely be interesting as it will be good to see what certain teams do and how they do. Sometimes the cars go fast, sometimes they dont, and sometimes they crash.....its all part of the game.

EDIT:

I'm done in here and wont be back

Back on topic, Dana's car hauls ass.

How is an opinion on whats a street tire and whats a DRAG TIRE(as it clearly states in the name DRAG RADIAL) ignorant? WOW You made a gutless wonder of a muscrat run 10s on drag radials, join the rest of the redneck world. I know you don't have to floor it everywhere you go and can probably control a car better then you. No one has still answered my question if its such a street radial intended tire why is it called a drag radial? You guys calling a drag radial a true street radial tire to me is like calling snow tires slicks.

Thanks for my sig, it's intended to piss off white trash like yourself.

IF thats the case using YOUR logic....then the following would be true.

BFG Drag Radial....Drag tire
Nitto Drag Radial...Drag tire
MT ET STREET...Street tire

After all using your logic it says STREET in the name so it must be a true street tire....

of those three i would much rather have a Nitto or BFG on my car for street use.
