he deserves to get what ever the cops feel he needs if hes tryin to harm a cop they need to take actions, and how did the cops know he wasent gonna stapb them or something?

That was justified. Its clear they were trying to use the car as less leathal force than just shooting him. Not every department in the country has tasers yet. A taser woulda done wonders in this situation but I think the crown vic got the job done.. Oh and by the way its very easy to die from a shot in the leg. There are arteries it could hit and so forth. The guys luck to get off with some bruises and a broken wrist.
