It just depends on how you look at it. But actually, this argument is pointless because the Z06 was spraying the whole time, so it IS apples to apples. Both cars had a power adder. The difference is, one car has very low compression so it needs the power adder. But there is nothing wrong with that.
I don't ever hear people complaining about supra's having turbo's? If they lose, you don't really hear "well, he has a turbo" so why is it unfair if a cobra is charged from the factory? It is not even a turbo.

We Already Know WHo Lost By What Car They Bought.... you can make a geo metro faster than a Vette but its still a metro.. But when you put the 2 cars side my side comparison you know whos gonnna win...

That's stupid.. A cobra motor costs roughly twice what a z06 motor costs..
