calling another car garbage? lol maybe after 60 ft the car seems slower not because of the awd,but because of the hp discrepancy. do you honestly think that you would be able to chase down a wrx when racing from a stop if it had the same hp as your car? yes stock for stock, an srt would chase down a wrx if the race was long enough... not because of awd, but because the srt has about 20-40 more horses to the wheels than the wrx. yes people could say well the srt is cheaper yada yada yada. speedwise, Its definitely a good bang for the buck. but i think subaru had other concerns besides going fast in a car. Compare the rest of the car and i think you'd see the difference. And for a car with about 170'sh (not sure on that though, lol) horses to the wheels, going low 14's is not so bad.

Like maybe comfort, drivability, and reliability. Not to mention handleing, but we dare not speak of anything that doesen't go as fast as a SRT in a straight line. I can tell this convo is about to become

1-My seats are WAY more comfortable than any Wrx/Sti ive sat in..ive test driven both also..so lets not knock anything yet

2-Yes my car IS drivable...nice right?

3-Reliable?I know off OVER 10 400whp(thats right..FOUR HUNDRED) "Neon" Srt-4's that have yet to break ANYTHING

Well thats 3 out of 4 but you left out handling, i guess thats not a major issue to you. Also just because your seats are more comfortable doesent mean the ride is more comfortable. I too have test driven both so i can knock on that.

 

New road and track 14.5 1/4mile Srt-4 that doesn't impress me.

 

I ran a 13.8 stock......to bad im slow...matter of fact...check war stories...thats for all you wrx guys that have big mouths

 

honestly, who gives a flying fuck what the times are rated at, if the pro drivers are only running mid 14's, yet joe schmoe's who just got theirs are running 13.8-14.0's, dont you think there might be some kinda discrepancy....besides, isn't yours a stock automatic...solid 15 second car
