Fast 2g Eclipse killing V8's at the track
well i know its a rough comparison, but shalane does 11.7's or so at ~118...with 1.7 60's.... and the cars are similarly weighted
i cant see him doing 11.5 @ 120 cutting a 1.4...if he was running like low low 11's then yes, i would say it was a 1.4 or so.

An awd that runs 11.5 at 120 is ALL 60'. The average dsm that runs 119-120mph runs only a 11.9 et. For instance, my buddy has run 11.4 but it was at 127 and his 60' was 1.8. Trust me, he's cutting 1.4s

lol i think you have me mistaken..what did i break? and why shouldnt i talk about reliability...ive put the bird through more, and only thing ive had to deal with is the tranny, which is now a resolved issue cause IMO the 700R4 is a pos...as for sounding like ass..ill settle for the extra 10/15 i pick up at the expense of a loud noise until i leave the track...
as for hanging with it...no, i wouldnt....probably because i dont have a huge investment in my car like he does....owning a DSM showed me how to work with what you have, which is pretty much what im doing, 1 bolt on and i drop a whole 1.2 seconds...put some tires on, i just dropped 1.5. and i wouldnt have to run a mid 11 to beat him, not at the track anyways.
