well, you can get a used 302 and T-5 for cheap. then get a junkyard rear end for really cheap.

the most expensive part would be the custom drive shaft you would have to have made.

saw a monster miata in action friday night...got the 5.0 in it...it was amazing! the kit is close to 10k i think he said maybe a lil more for engine and other stuff. simply amazing! hes putting a SC and 125 wet shot on it soon...he wants to get at least 500hp and run low 11's possibly 10

i've got the issue of GRM with all the accounting and what not... it checks out... spent a total of 2003 bucks on that car... i'll have to look around for it, but anyone who doesn't believe that total can kiss my grits.

there used to me a site called monstermotorsports.com and they had the onster miata kits as well as a mega monster miata which was a supercharged 302 with all the goodies.. supposidly the only car faster that it from 0-100-0 was the 427 shelby cobra.. this was several years ago when i had my miata. I believe the conversion was over 20k for the mega monter. I will definatly build one as a project oneday
