I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

errr, hl is an fps (first person shooter). It's nice, now vavle is in the process of comming out with hl2 (which uses a different engine). I played cs:source which is a knock off from hl. Cs:source runs off the hl2 engine and it's fucking sick. I'll host some screen shots for you guys.

Def going to buy when it comes out.
I am a novice gamer. I love playing but I really suck at figuring out puzzles sometimes.
When I lived in KC I had 10 office people playing HL during lunch time. Everyone was screaming at each other over the cubicles...I see you!

the hardware requirements for HL2 are quite high... i will have to use my work computer to play.
