Actually he manufactures the A-10 kit. His first model used the airfoil from a glider. Obviously it didnt look like a glider wing. It was done like this to conserve weight and make it so it wouldnt drop like a rock if he went dead stick. One of the companies that make the gas powered turbines sent him a pair in return for a pair of the A-10 kits Lucky bastard

His original, though, did have gas props and not turbines.

i seen them on tv bunch of times, they say it cant go over 200mph b/c ot will fall apart in mid air.

Almost tru ... they AMA(Aero modelers Association) makes people restrict them to 190mph , but cause at those speeds .. if you lose control of the plane 9/10 the servos are not fast enuff to recover by the time you hit the ground ..

also of peopel use ducted fan engines in them they are aound $500 each , they use nitrous engines . unlike the engines in the video use desiel or karose(sp) .. a actually jet engine ( like the one in the video will run your around $5000 for a good one ... Thus why lot of people used ducted fan .. Ps I wouldn't by anything like this from Tower.. it would be better to go straight through the man.
