I have the inclination that when the car drifted off the pavment something on the drivers side suspension gave way. If you watch closely you can see the car appear as if it was going to recover, but all of a sudden it digs in the ground and is up on 2. When the car flips and youe looking at the belly of the vehicle you can see the drivers wheel is waaay out of alignment with the passenger wheel.

If a was a betting man i'd say the tie rod failed in some way letting the wheel jam up in an ackward(sp?) position that caused it to dig into the ground and catch thus sending the car up on 2 and then into a roll.

Is it just me or was that car the only 1 drifting a road coarse. It seemd like everyone else was driving? And the Evo was purposely throwing the ass out on every turn!

so yea.. all BS aside and the mistakes....
I have to give the person props for being able to drift the AWD as good as they did... that takes some talent for sure

as far as the rally stuff goes... you cant even have an EVO registered in the SCCA member database w/out losing your warranty.... If mitsu looks at the SCCA Database and sees that your car has been registered at any type of autocross or anything.. they void your warranty...
atleast thats what i was told and i think thats BS if its true.. that alone would make me buy an STi as Subaru gives you a 1 year membership to the SCCA with the purchase of any WRX...
