me personaly, i would take an ls1 over a cobra any day, i prefer N/A any day over boosted car, nothing sounds better then a high looping head/cam ls1, in my opioun. my bro has one, a 02 ws6 badasss, and my dad just bought a z06, makes my bros ws6 seem like nothing in comparison pics in my gallery of both, if intrested to see. but still to call the cobra shitty is stupid and retarted, ford made it right, they put time and money into the new cobra alsome car under 1k you can be running 11s. the new cobra is a monster and definaltey no slouch in the automotive department.

TurboCharger= Turbine Driven Supercharger

Turbine = Driven By expelled gases or liquid in motion

Supercharger = A device that increases air volume in a internal combustion engine.

Supercharger's consist of
Centrifical
Roots
Rotory

In 1967 Shelby American offered an interesting option for GT 350 Shelby Mustangs, a supercharger. Used on airplane engines, superchargers boosted the horsepower. Paxton agreed to offer a special Cobra supercharger. What was special was that it fit under the hood and the bonnet had "Cobra" in raised letters on it. Fitting under the hood was important since Shelby did not want to modify the hoods. Shelby American claimed a small block hi-po engine would put out big block horsepower with a supercharger. At that time the estimated boost was about 30%. The Shelby Ford hi-po was rated at 302 horses. Ad 30% and the total horses are now over 400.

Once again that vehicle was built by carroll shelby not Ford motor car company thats like saying lingenfelters ZR1' or ZR5's are production class vettes ! Which they are not the FIRST Marketed PRODUCTION LINE Charged Vehickle ws the GM Buick Rivia With the SAME egine as the GN/Typhoon and Grand Prix's. Oh and did i mention its a V6 not a N8 and yes they pit down more than a cobra.

its nice that your know so much about the very car you hate makes me proud to be a Mustang owner to see this. I have a very good freind that has an 02 camaro and had an 99 camaro as well. the 02 has yet to see the 12's but after he put around 6000 in the 99 he hit 11:50 without a problem this was without any power adder now you add the cost of a 99 camaro with the 6000 he spent on mods then go and price a99 GT Mustang and use the same 6000 and the mustang comes out cheaper and faster and its only 4.6 lt not 5.7 thats a lot of cubic inches there. I respect the power GM has made with there tried and true 350 and as far as competing with the vette the Mustang was never made to compete with it. the Mustang was made for the every day guy and in 64 started the pony wars and then reinvented it agian in the early 80's The Mustang is the true American sports car its afordable and easeir(and much cheaper) to modifie than the camaro.
AND AS FAR AS IMPORTS GO THEY ARE LIKE TAMPONS EVERY PUSSY NEEDS ONE
