Viper runs 9.80's on the juice(150 shot) and it too IS SUPERCHARGED. Anyways, both still baD ass

 

Here are a few facts for you guys:

The Vette is a 408 stroker with a D1 Procharger.

The Viper has a Roe s/c screw blower at 6psi and a 100 shot on a stock motor (with roller rockers)

The race started at 25 to 30 and the Vette let out at 130 to 135. Both cars started in second gear and the Vette was out a fender immediatly.

The Viper has run one 9.85 @ 144 at Bradenton (good air :nod, other than that, low 10's to 10.50 would be the norm.

The Viper is not the one that visited Tampa from the east coast....but they were almost dulicates of each other except for the n02. In fact, when this Viper was in the area racing at Bradenton....there was a few 40mph roll ons with the infamous east coast Viper.....dead even without the n02 (They are good friends)

The race happened in Chattanooga Tn. The Vette is from Nashville and the Viper from Georgia.

KUDOS to the Vette driver for releasing the video. Both cars kick ass !!

damn now i'm confused did the vette let out before the viper passed him i thought the viper just sprayed him and the vette was done but now knowing this.did he let out who did they say won and what does the vette run in the 1/4.

Ghost. The Viper won. You can see about 3/4 of the Viper when the Vette went into 5th gear. When the Vette hits 5th the nose drops then comes back up......the Vette let out right as the blue drop down shows up....you can see the nose fall. Both cars started in second gear, count the shifts. I don't think the Vette has a 1/4 mile with this setup.

Wayne, What do you mean.....the Viper would have lost if it hadn't have won ??? Of course, the Vette would have won if he had not lost.

Your assuming he did spray.....that drop down is pure speculation from the Vette camp. The Viper was never behind the Vettes rear tire. But I do see your point. \
