it looked like when he "passed" the yellow EVO at the exit of the right hand turn onto the straight - the guy seemed to wave him around and why in the world would he exit there if he was pushing the evo?

anyone else see that? it also looked like the BMW did the same thing at the same spot hmmmmm?

Yeah, since they aren't race cars you courteously let the faster cars through.

The focus ran up on that evo from a few seconds back within a couple minutes of racing, no doubt he was faster.

 

Those are the rules of most track days. You can only pass on the straights, you have to be waved around, and you have to acknowledge. Good driving indeed.

 

The guy with the evo sucked ass at driving. He was taking turns way to slow for an evo.

 

I second that! I was like wtf?!

 

There are some other vids on the www.focuschallenge.com site. The svtf runs across some WRXs and other Evos as well. They guy can drive that Focus hard. He obviously knows what he is doing. It just goes to show that the driver is the biggest upgrade you can make to a car.
