While the final MSRP won’t be released until just before the car goes on sale, Lyons told dealers that early guesses of $250,000 are way off. According to Lyons, the MSRP will “substantially less than $150,000,” which, he explained, will make it substantially less than its nearest supercar competitor the Ferrari 360 Modena.

We'll see... In automotive terms this could be 125K or 149,900...

The Lotus Elise was announced as 30,000 ish sports car. Looks like it's retail will be 39,900.

We're sorry, but we can't find the HomePage you've requested. It's possible that:

Sorry, looks like they took down the link and I can't get to it on the other site. And yes, my Motortrend said $149,900 as tested (estimate). Still a bargin compared to the lambo or red head.

The GT40 is such a tight ride.... I think they said its like what a foot and change longer and 8 inches higher than the original... If my memory serves me right...

Right...the new car is not called the GT40. The original actually wasn't called that either, it was just the Ford GT, followed by Mark and it's number designation for teh various versions. The GT40 name was sort of a slang term given to the car because it was only 40 inches tall at the roofline!
The new GT is called just that....the Ford GT, like the original.
Sorry if they mention that in the text, I didn't read all of it.
