I couldn't get by the rediculous looks of the sti. I do wish my evo had more low end grunt though...

Great vid though. Looked like the Blue STi got lazy where the white Scooby was willing to stick to the game. Would have been a different story if there was a Nash Metropolitan in the mix!

Anyway, that looked like a fuckin blast. I wish someone would give me a new car to beat the crap out of.

 

What's so ridiculous about the STi?
Bottom line is that race was about the driver. The cars are too compatible to say one is better than the other, except over here where we get more displacement.

 

hahahaha BMi evo strikes back, if you watch the first match up between the evo VI and the spec c the spec c wins, they even have a good match up between STi v3, v5, gdb spec c, evo 3, 5, 7 and a skyline I believe. and the spec c took it.

not a kick at EVO's they are great cars (not the watered down USDM ones though) but its funny how the STi's and the EVO's are 2 cars built for the same purpose around 2 different ideas of achieving it, EVO = techno goodies while the STi is the product of extreme refinement of its platform.

I like what Tsuchiya says its something roughly to the effect that the EVO is quicker for a novice to pick up because the computer will take up the slack where the STi can turn faster times because of its balance but it takes skill or some such sense
