I read the thread, let me highlight some points:
- Your Dad has a Lexus G35, but sold his Caddy to buy a new Z06.
- You did not like your Sony TVR-27 so you went out and bought a new DSC-P9.

On the otherhand. If you think you have to justify you financial status to a bunch of idiots, you don't know, on the internet, perhaps you feel guilty about something? Why would you care what myself, TR, or LS1 people thought?

I have pleanty of toys. Hell, my 22" flat screen cost more than most people computers. People give me shit about all the time when they come over but, I wanted it, and I could afford it. So What?

Your family is well off, your going to collage, driving a 35k car, someone is paying the insurance for a 20 some old to drive it, and your buying digital video equipment on a whim. You do not have to appologize for it but PLEASE do not try to defend it like it is not true.

As for your ramlings on LS1, I do not need to hear the economy explained to me from a kid in school. I work for the Federal Reserve, so I have a general idea how the numismatic system works.

Oh and FYI when I was your age (well a little younger) my Dad "did" buy me a car. Other kids without cars or school were jealous.

I was always glad to be an "have" rather than a "have not". Live with it, deal with it, move on.

Stay in school. The job market is no fun right now. Especially to people with no experience.... Oh, I forgot I do not have to explain the world to you.

I thought I would try to explain why it is unnecessary to waste time on jealousy or hating.. the time spent is justified because I get this "hate" more than I care for. There is no guilt.

As for your two points:
-My dad has a lot of cars. He was in the car business. I don't see a point in your "point".
-The DCR-TRV27 is a digital video camera, the DSC-P9 is a digital camera.

Its sad that you have to dig thru a long post and pull out little "points" to try to prove anything about me. There is obviously something wrong

i think its great that your dad or who ever bought the car for you and only you. people just hate on it because they wish they had the same. i know i would love for my dad to buy me a new 03 SVT but its not happening any time soon so i say good for ya dood, rock on.
