That commercial aired in the us for months, no need to show us the german(?) version. Or was the the only host you found for it? It was a cool video though, I cranked the brightness and contrast a bit, and that wave had to be at least 10 times as tall as that guy. He had skills, or luck, to not just get smashed by the wave toppling over him.

I wasnt searching for it, I just came across it, it happened to be the german version, I still thought it was cool either way, and yes I saw it on TV, but never saw it on the net..

Uh... There are probably only about three people in world who could surf a wave like that. I doubt any one of them could be fully engulfed in the white wash of the crest on a wave like that, and not be blown clean off their board and tossed 100 yards across the water. That kind of pressure could cruch the board, not to mention that guy. I think there has been some good old fashioned Tom Foolery performed on that one. How could you get out in a surge like that? Not paddling out; and none of my friends would be towwing me out on the back of their personal watercraft!

that commercial is so fake. theres 3 different shots they put together. the first one where it shows the hurricane and the house getting blown down. then theres the surf breaking perfectly in hurricane winds which is kinda immposible and when it zooms in it switches to a place called jaws in hawaii where the surfer got towed into the wave. the surfing part is real though except for the boat in the background

and to bad in the real video of that guy getting towed in died on that wave.
