They are self extracting WinZip files. That's why they have the .exe extension. When you download you will see.

Also if video is encoded with a good compression it will not get much smaller anyway.

Also an EXE will ALWAYS be larger than the original ZIP too. I run DVmix.com so I do know a litttle about videos
