can we get somthing at the top of the page (like last TR) that would tell us we had a PM?

i have the popup window but that only works when youre on the site, and i dont wanna get an email notification cuz i never check em.....just wondering about a little link at the top of the forum index saying "you have X new PM's"

 

there's a link at the bottom of the forums page.
