a good suggestion im sure you guys have looked at for the redesign is the post count. i suggest to have it visible inside the profile and the top posters list since if most people are like me they dont sit there and look at the list everytime they post to see if they passed anyone.

take the post count off of the actual replies to a message though. i think this might get rid of some of the whoring perhaps.

instead id rather have the location: _____ tag added back onto the post header like it was back in the first TR days. even though alot of people are from tampa/st pete area it would be nice to know who is from where even if they put something stupid down like yo momma...u can always limit the # of characters so someone doesnt distort the header size with a stupid message....

just suggesting.

 

If you make a minimum amount of words the post has to contain...people will start making longer worthless posts.

 

Let post whores be post whores... just make it known (LIKE IT IS) when they joined as well as how many posts they have... if some schmuck like me (joined this year) has like the top 5 count then let it be to the users discretion to realize the person is a whore.
Dont make more work for yourselves. I know you want this to be perfect and all but shit... no one gets a cookin for havingthe most so why bother trying to curb the whoring. As Leslie said the stupid posts will get longer and take MORE of the available webspace... it wont actually STOP the lunatic posting habbits of some.
And IMHO any reply Seriously? makes though only ONE WORD is a valid post. Just because of what it means to be Seriously?-fied.
