make it so that when someone gives rep a mod has to approve of it not no people that ask for rep because they want it so they can spam kids and whatnot and be number 1...
it sounds like a crazy idea but the reputation system here sucks and it needs to be fixed.... how can you believe people on this website to be trustworthy when they ask for rep and they talk on the website and say hey guys give me rep .......

ignore the rep system, its as pointless as post counts. neither of them are indications of how trustworthy someone is and there is no system we can code that will do that.

Don't ignore the rep system. The negative rep people are the only ones you know are idiots. Ignore positive rep. Pay attention to negative rep because more than likely that person is given negative rep for a reason.
