Traditional Country for ya, the type of Country everyone loves to listen, I think most of today's so-called music oughta go the way of the dinosaur, and this type of music oughta make a come back. But sadly that'll never happen, at least we can come here and relish in the memories of the good ol days.

They don't make 'em like Kathy nowadays ! It's a damn shame Nashville got so shallow-minded, bottom-lined obsessed, and always shoving REAL talent aside to make room for the new bimbos ! This AIN'T how Real Country Music is ! The 90's were a revolution for female country singers - they made ppl stop and LISTEN because they had something Intelligent and powerful to say !

I wish they would get together somehow and maybe tour as a showcase, 'cause these ladies have MUCH to teach today's country stars...Out of the "newbies" Gretchen Wilson, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood are the only ones worth listening to ! Ah, the 90's - a classic time for Ladies country music !

my dad always talked of his shipboard days in WWII and the trip to Japan that was cancelled with the end of the war. The other talk was that of family and his trucking.

That Jimmy V6 screaming, the boss giving him one dollar for fuel for a load and he soundly rejected, the time a rock set the air valve open and he ran a load of tomatoes out of the ozarks without brakes, hugging the tight curves and finally making the straightaway to see family.

Then out for another turn.......................god bless him and all hard working Americans................

Famous Trucks well known to all "Truck Nuts"

Anthony Fox has been caretaker of this piece of history -- one of the original 1970 Mack trucks driven by the Rubber Duck character in Sam Peckinpah's 1970s "Convoy" film -- for the last few years. And it's not just the truck.

The 5,800-gallon shell of a Trailmobile tanker, used for asphalt at some point in its life, is also an original from the movie, bearing the scars of some of the high-action shoot. Overdrive talked with the Rome, Ga., 20-truck small fleet owner (also pulling tanks) at the Lincolnton, N.C., Southern Classic Truck Show in September 2017.
