older trucks have more parts available and are easier to work on but they also have more problems just because or normal wear and tear bing 20+years old.

depending on the age a ford is better than a chevy... 88+ GM have a ifs along with fords but in a 250 ford or bigger is better than the gm counter part..

Only thing i did was have my truck towed to ford.... broken t-case ftl!
